As a coach I work from the belief that the power for change lies within individuals. My role is to act as a catalyst and non-judgemental support, to help individuals fulfil their potential. These values and ideas are equally relevant to individual and corporate clients.
I launched Lorna Reid Coaching in 2002, following 15 years working for leading UK marketing and brand communications companies, to Director level. I have always been active in internal communications and personal development of staff, based on the principle that positive and open communication is a powerful motivational tool and way to strengthen businesses and brands, from the inside.
My coaching style is person-centred and tailored to the client's agenda. At the first session we will discuss your vision, goals and expectations from coaching and develop a plan together. If you are responsible for developing an organisational coaching plan I may recommend introducing my associates, to offer an integrated training and coaching plan, to meet the needs of your organisation.
My qualifications include Communication Studies and PostGrad Marketing (CIM), COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills (Council for Psychotherapy and Counselling Scotland) and a Certificate of Professional Development in Performance Coaching, accredited by Strathclyde University and a Certificate in Physical Education and Community Study.
I have built a client list from a range of industries and would be delighted to discuss how I can work with you to fulfil the vision and dreams of you and your organisation.
